Gymnastic Academy of Boston offers various programs for every skill level. See our programs below to find the perfect class for your child.
Preschool & Toddler
From 18 months to 5 years old, toddlers and preschoolers learn important skills for balance, coordination, strength, and confidence. They follow a curriculum that allows them to develop early gymnastics skills, which they can build on as they get older.
Beginner Gymnastics Classes
We have two main beginner groups at GABC. Acrokats are beginners ages 5 - 8, who work to improve their balance and coordination by learning the basic skills on the four Olympic events: vault, bars, beam, and floor. Ages 6 - 10 are our Fireflies. These students work to build upon skills they have already learned in lower levels or other sports and begin to master basics like handstands and cartwheels!
Intermediate & Advanced Gymnastics Classes
Intermediate classes are for children ages 8 - 11 who have mastered all basic gymnastics skills. They learn walkovers, and they begin tumbling. The advanced class teaches running tumbling for children ages 9 - 13 who have dedicated a significant amount of time to the sport. Both classes practice on all four Olympic events to master the maximum number of skills.
Ninja classes are for boys ages 5 - 8. This class introduces gymnastic events and parkour with a focus on strength, agility, and developing listening skills. There are plenty of fun activities to ensure energetic boys stay engaged!
GABC offers a wide variety of competitive levels to fit your child’s unique needs. We offer Xcel levels Silver through Platinum for the gymnasts who love competing, but also want time outside the gym to pursue other interests. We offer Development Program (previously Junior Olympic) levels 4-8, for gymnasts who are fully dedicated to the sport and wish to achieve a high level of competition.
