MEET THE STAFF

GAB - CAMBRIDGE

We know that the quality of the instructors makes a difference in your child’s experience with gymnastics. Over the years we have interviewed dozens of highly-qualified, energetic, and patient instructors, and have hand-selected only the finest we have seen. We are confident that your child will look forward to spending time with all of our instructors at any level! Our 40-year reputation has been built one child at a time and we intend to keep it that way! Want to meet our instructors before you make a commitment? Stop by the facility and say “Hi” to them.

OWNER AND TEAM DIRECTOR

JULIA JACOBS

Julia began gymnastics at the age of two while growing up in Newton. She began with recreational classes and then started competing at the age of six, continuing to compete until she entered high school at 14. She attended high school in Cambridge at BB&N and began coaching gymnastics soon after when she turned 15. She came to GABC in 2019, and when the previous owner retired, she took over in June of 2022. She absolutely loves being part of this special community, and is very excited to have the opportunity to help the gym grow as the new owner.

PRESCHOOL COORDINATOR & TEAM COACH

MICHELE FRY

Michele is excited to get back into coaching the sport she loves after a 14-year hiatus! Formerly a competitive gymnast in New Jersey, Michele has twenty years of coaching experience. She coached many regional and NJ state champions in levels 6-10 before moving to Massachusetts. Michele was also an elementary school teacher with a MEd in elementary education before taking time off to stay home with her four young children. All four of her children are gymnasts at GABC!
